Version 17 04/12/2025

Our next meeting on 9th December will be for members to show up to 16 sheets of stamps and postcards on the topic of "Laughter is the Best Medicine". This will be followed by our traditional Christmas Party and General Knowledge Quiz for the final meeting of 2025 on 16th December.

Our Press and Publicity Secretary has posted details of recent meetings on our Facebook page. You may also see them in the other locations that have been sent an update, namely We Love Solihull, My Solihull, Whats on Solihull, Solihull Word of Mouth and Solihull Forum.

Please also look at the Gallery for pictures from Europhilex, including the Society's award from FEPA for outstanding activities in promoting philately. Three of our members received awards. More photos were taken from a display at our first meeting.  Full details of all of the awards can be found at this link https://fepanews.us19.list-manage.com/track/click?u=9b83c1eb6dc5995ceddde5880&id=80a2774f17&e=89fe04bd66

Meetings in our season are on Tuesday afternoons. They start at 1:30 pm with a bourse for members to sell and exchange items of interest. The full meeting starts at 2:00 pm. A half-time break allows members to view the first half of the display and take refreshments and participate in our raffle .

If you are interested in joining the Society, please see Membership for the benefits and use the form to contact us on the Contacts page. Visitors are always welcome.

The next Knowle Stamp Fair will be on Sunday 21st December 2025 at Knowle Village Hall between 9:30 am and 2:30 pm. The fairs are always on the third Sunday of each month, apart from May due to the Knowle Fun Run. Do come along and support your local stamp fair. You never know what you may find. Ask dealers, other than your usual contacts, and you may be pleasantly surprised at what they have hidden away.

Bernadette would like any unwanted stock cards or packaging to be saved for her as she needs it urgently to pack up stamps for Oxfam. If you can help, please contact Paul through the email on the Contacts page.
